Did you have a favorite scene from the film?

Mine was the 'cleaning of the carpet.' Not knowing when it was shot (nor was this necessary), the time they chose to place it in the narrative was poetic IMO. It was like after all the fighting, controversy, and drama all there was to do was finally "clean the carpets" and get back to the illusion of way things have always been. Such a great scene.

There was a lot of hard-hitting material in the last half of the film. The fallout scene between Jim and his helper Andy stood out to me. Both men had struggled so hard and each put across a fully sympathetic point of view. Their conflict made you feel so bad for both of them.

I watched the last half of this documentary last night on PBS. Unfortunately, I missed the first part. The scene that stuck out for me is when the reporter was following Rev. Jay through the streets asking questions and he simply ignored him. I kept wondering why doesn't he answer his questions?

I LOVED the scene with the woman, her dog & the shotgun. My dog bites! She was unbelievably hilarious.

Yes, the scene with the angry woman was amazing, it was just a shame she didn't bitch slap him.
