Found out it was a Stearman Cloudboy - one of only 6 still flying.

shareIt would be interesting to know if they used this plane because it was the one Sully actually trained on. They certainly could have found a much cheaper alternative. The plane used, N787H, serial number 6002, is owned by Ronald Alexander and displayed at the Candler Field Museum in Williamson, Georgia.
