Unrated?

I'm planning on seeing this tomorrow. My mom is coming to town and is pretty straight forward with her dislike of profanity and violence. Most unrated movies I've seen have been unrated because they are extreme. Can someone that has seen this tell me, without spoilers, why this is unrated?
