The Metaphor

The fact that this is based on a known urban legend about someone dying while trying to find the Fargo money is incidental, I think. The theme of the film is finding that one piece of art that speaks so profoundly to you that you would do anything for it, even die for it. I can definitely relate to that feeling, as I think every person has a similar obsession in their life. Lovely film, this. Really enjoyed it.
