Bunzo is going to win the Oscar for best supporting rabbit
The train station scene was heartbreaking.
shareThe train station scene was heartbreaking.
shareEvery scene with Bunzo is intensely cute. Especially when kumiko is feeding him noodles.
In the park where a poor, flummoxed Bunzo is being informed by Kumiko of his new freedom I had a moments scare, thinking Kumiko was about to kill poor Bunzo.
Again at the train station I feared she meant to throw poor Bunzo in front of a train in some sick pun on Japanese salarymen.
But seeing Bunzo all alone on the blue train seat was sad.
I hope Bunzu is happily nibbling on some noodles wherever he may be.
Bunzo did fine, got the subway to the airport and took a flight to meet Kumiko in the USA.
shareI thought she was going to throw him in the water!
I can't stand it when she touches me.
Best thread subject line. Ever.
shareI found myself wondering about Bunzo during the film.
And surely Following Bunzo's journey would be a worthy watch and pose a fun and challenging project for the filming crew.
Bunzo is gonna be a star :)
There can be no true beauty without decay.
I loved that rabbit! And the way he "appeared" in the end to add to her happiness!
shareI'm pretty sure that the rabbit in the final sequence is a different rabbit from Japan. The ears are much longer on the Bunzo at the end than the other one. I believe they are two different breeds of rabbit. Possibly due to restrictions on bringing a rabbit into the US from Japan?
shareRight?? The nose is a totally different shape too. My pet rabbit is shaped very much like the Bunzo in most of the movie, but the one at the end is, well, pointier.
shareAccording to the credits, Bunzo was played by Bunzo the Rabbit. And a masterful performance it was! Clearly, a method actor. Does anyone know whom he studied under?
shareBunzo did a better job in this movie than a lot of professionally trained actors I see every now and again
