So much promise -- so little imagination?

I can't figure out how to watch this show so can't comment on it. It sounds like it's been written by kids - instead of boomers. So much opportunity with this age group - not as much the 80 - 90 year olds as those of us who are retireing early. We've still got our health (well, most of it!), still have our money (many a lot more than the 18-49 year olds!!!), have a ton of time to do things in - hope to leave a legacy and are working hard to show we were here for a reason and have left the earth a better place because we were here. Hard to believe those tied to their cell phones and facebook accounts will be able to make that statement!

So - find some INTERESTING boomers - follow at least 6 of them. Follow them along strategic points of interest (presidential elections in NH - volunteers after catastrophies in foreign countries - grandparents stepping in - cruises - online shopping - stock market watching - trying to legalize medical marijuana, trying to do the stupid exercises we see on morning shows that make no sense for the arthritic).

Find out what we're doing and add the Hollywood exaggeration element to the thing to make if spell-binding.

It just sounds to me like you came to a comedy expecting a drama....
