Giant spider
Is the giant spider in the movie? We see it getting snatched from it's huge web in the trailer, and I really want to see that in the movie.

Thanks. It doesn't matter if it does something or not. I just wanted it to be there, as I love (big CGI) spiders in movies. In real life, that'a another matter.

Shelob freaked me out too. But she was magnificent. I love that spider. Also, Aragog from HP 2, the huge spider from Big Ass Spider!, Consuela from Eight Legged Freaks, and many more from movies with spiders. And let's not forget The General from Arachnophobia. That size actually exists. Now that is a spider to be afraid of.
