well it's official...

No season 2. Mark my word. R.i.p. brilliance.

reply

I hope you are wrong, but I don't think you are.

Would have been nice if they had actually MARKETED the show.

reply

That's too bad. Honestly, I don't think they would be able to match the genius of season 1. It will be a cult classic.

reply

That sucks. It was friggin hilarious. And, pretty twisted, but that's why I loved it. Typical, yes, let's keep shows like, "The Good Witch" and "Two Broke Girls" 'cause they are so incredibly mesmerizing and amusing and wry. Barf. RIP indeed. BTW, the last episode was so funny because like who wasn't killed by of all people, pun intended, the chimp.

reply

I'm seriously pissed if this is true. *beep* Comedy Central for not advertising it more. This show is gold and I'd stop whatever I was doing to watch. :(

reply

What make you think that?

Comedy Central IS going down the tubes this year (after Colbert being replaced by a humorless robot and Jon leaving in July (?)) and I'd think they'd be more inclined to hold onto a show that was received so well by both critics AND viewers.

Plus, if it WAS cancelled, I'm fairly certain we'd have heard it by now. They've already written a script for the next season that begins exactly where it left off, so it's not like they're out of ideas.

reply

Well, you see. I hold off on optimism and opt for skepticism instead. That way, when we get the announcement that this show will be back for a second season, I can prance around like a little schoolgirl who just received a pony for her 7th birthday.

reply

Damn, now I understand what Jerry Seinfeld meant when he said there aren't men like George C Scott and Steve McQueen around anymore.

reply

And so the legend is born.

Forget everything you just read, and go back to sleep.

Lenny just let everyone know that it will not be a season 2.

How can a show that was ranked 13 in the top 20 Best TV Shows in 2015 get cancelled? This is so disappointing. 😢
