Women really don't like Top Gear

I noticed that there are 5 votes for 1/10, and they are all by varying aged women. I wonder, are they voting because they have watched the DVD or are they voting on how much they like Jeremy Clarkson? :)

reply

I'd say you're on to something there. They probably just hate Jeremy. Or cars. Or men in general.

reply

Some do like it, but why would they bother to go on IMDB and vote for it? That's mainly the type of thing a bloke would do.
Ha! Maybe they tend not like being pigeon-holed into stereotypes by numb-nuts on the Internet. :)

reply

or maybe they are men and just don't like the repetitive scripting from the tv show usual runs..

lets see.

hammonds pickiness about eating foods- check (is he really picky or it's a scripted moment?)
jezza cheating to win- check
jezza picking on him/hammond- check
making fun of james may- check
jezza not getting his way so he isn't bothered/complains- check.
hammond complaining about everything that wasn't about driving seemed out of place..

otherwise was fine ;)

reply

Yeah but that keeps up the authenticity! Haha, I don't know, I felt those things were not worth considering; their line up of cars in this special, was!

I must be the oddball then. I love Top Gear and have been watching it for years. Started with my son's interest in cars at a very young age and he and I have this in common. Not often you get a teenager who wants to watch tv with his middle aged mom.
