really liked bobby

He seemed genuine and nice , not like a creep like the others. But seriously what's with Russians and heels and skimpy dresses

reply

You talking about the obese video game government human resources drone?

he was the creepiest one on the documentary outside of the Aussie. The man from San Antonio/Uvalde seemed like the most normal.

I think Bobby was the one who got married to the woman with braces, not the fat guy. None of these men seemed completely "normal" to me other than the one who decided after the first trip that it was a horrible mistake and he went back home to find an age appropriate woman.

Bobby did seem nice though as did the guy who got married but regretted it.

The fat guy, the Aussie, and the one who married what looked like a Russian prostitute came off creepy.

Bobby was the overweight guy who played video games. The woman with the braces married Robert, he's the guy who lived in Fresno, California and worked in construction.

I read an interview with the director where he gave this update on Bobby:

"Bobby just recently went to The Philippines and found this very young Filipino girl that he’s supposedly engaged to. She looks like a 12 year-old girl."

They did a good job of trying to be unbiased in their portrayal of the men, but it's clear from the above-referenced interview that privately the director thought most of the men featured in the documentary had some serious issues. Apparently Michael (the Australian that so many feel sympathetic toward) made a lot of inappropriate off-camera comments about Svitlana's daughter.

The Aussie guy (Michael) was South African, living in Oz. Accent is very different....

Cobanerd - where did you read that? I've been trying to find the interview.
