Wanting what you refuse to be

Something that made me wonder about some of these guys, particularly Bobby (the fat guy from Virginia who worked for the government), is that they wanted these hot AF women that they were talking to online. And yet, they refused to do anything to get themselves in shape and looking good. They wanted what they themselves refused to be.

Bobby was delusional. I was shocked when at the end he showed the pictures of the new woman he was e-mailing. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and we should not judge appearances, but the similarities of the choises he made, probably suggest some deep psychological issues. We all dream of Brad Pitt or any other super hot actor/actress. but when it comes to real life, we lower out physical standarts, and focus on personality traits, that are the most important! After all if for example all women were looking for a Brad Pitt, we would all be single now!! :P

Men and butch lesbians aren't required to look good to be attractive. Men have other qualities that attract women.

Hahaha. Men and butch lesbians aren't required to look good to be attractive. So true. So very true. My butch lesbian is sexy AF but probably not "hot" in an traditional sense of the word.

mostly men want some hot b*ch looking women, just like in all porn. And women think - because of marketing, ads and so on - that they should look like a porn star; and act like them.
how sick this western world is... instead look for the inside of a person, give feelings and not cold watching sex, or BUYING consumption women.
poor first world.

sadly it appears Bobby was living in a distorted reality, where hot looking babes would gladly want to be with him regardless of how out of shape he might be. While I agree that physical appearance has become over prioritized, how we present ourselves to others should still be a consideration.
