Russian women looking like hookers...

i know it's a different culture etc but why did a lot of the Russian women look like hookers... i mean the one who got her face almost eaten off on her wedding day seemed a lovely genuine sweet girl but she dressed like a hooker, that said her new hubby was punching so far above his own (borderline obese) weight it was untrue...
