So her Boss's boss and the British guy Never

have to apologize. Last thing Maureen Crane says is (after the screen clearly shows where she is going) "She is going to New York, She is going to New York"

She spent the ENTIRE movie doubting this woman and we never see her reaction when Abbot is vindicated?

True.
They probably just wanted to get the movie over with and didn't care about adding scenes that would have provided closure and make the movie more enjoyable.

This made me laugh..but I guess that the convo with Dillon McDermott was supposed to be the closure bit.

There were some non-closure moments that were weird. The Brits following Milla suddenly vanished from the narrative so that was weird. It would have made more sense to continue to show them in pursuit. Or at least investigating and noticing that things didn't add up maybe. Also a bit odd that they lost her in the subway when they were like 5 feet behind her...and then just gave up. Nice to know that the British Secret Service will stop looking for you once they lose sight of you. Also a bit discomforting to see that they'll yell "Stop!" while also trying to kill you.

Brosnan in the subway at the exact place she ran to was a bit far-fetched.

The Ambassador's instructions made no sense. Why an Ambassador would be in charge of a manhunt for suspected terrorists is anyone's guess. Also, strange that they don't try to apprehend suspected terrorists who just bombed a restaurant for no reason. Maybe the lobster bisque wasn't fresh or something.

Not sure why the police weren't searching the apartment of the guy she was supposed to have killed.

I liked the stunt in the stairwell with sliding down the light. That was a good one.

I am a leaf on the wind - watch how I soar.

I was thinking exactly the same thing about them yelling "stop". Are you people stupid? Why would anyone stop when the person yelling it is shooting at you?

I came here to post the exact same thing. To be honest, I found Angela Bassett's character to be a bigger villain than Pierce Brosnan's character. I was hoping to see her killed just when she realized what an idiot she was or at least forced to resign in diagrace with no hope of ever having a government job again. Oh, how about maybe after she gets canned, she gets investigated as possibly being in on the plot since she was actively trying to murder the one woman who knew what was going on? And during the investigation she is forced to be in a high security prison, at least until they finally clear her.

OK, I guess I'm done. I'll just have to use my imagination for that part since the filmmakers clearly have none.

Hmmm. Her position is a political position, appointed by Presidential directive based on campaign contributions to his election campaign. Generally speaking, I believe that the London position costs the most, followed by the Paris position.

She is not a career officer in the foreign service. She is independently wealthy, probably spends annually several times the net worth of a foreign service officer.

I was think the same thing also.
