Really hope that working with Basset and Thompson improves Milla's

Acting! She is really lacking in that area. I really love Milla Jovovich, but she's done some really bad work like in "Stone" and some of the "Resident Evil" films.

Emma Thompson and Angela Bassett play supporting roles in an action movie starring Milla Jovovich? I'd never thought it'll happen. A must-see movie!

Angela Basset is one of the worst ever. She over acts in everything. She is more concerned with how she looks than any character she plays.

Basset does chew the scenery a bit but she's entertaining to watch (see American Horror Story). Milla Jovovich overacts but in a painful, unskilled way. Dylan McDermott is kind of her male equivalent actually.

My problem with Basset is her always wanting to look so god damm glamorous. In AHS she looked like she stepped off the pages of Vogue.i also hated the last season but loved the previous two. As for Jovovich, I'm not very familiar with her wort except for A PERFECT GETAWAY which is a total guiltypreasure. Love that film for what it is. Real eye candy to boot. I also like McDermott.What a family history he has.

You shouldn't expect anyone to understand since your logic is so warped it only makes sense to you. How could anyone possibly come to the conclusion that because Angela is NATURALLY good-looking, she only cares about her looks and not the acting craft she's been dedicated to since she was a preteen?

You're crazy. Angela Bassett is a great actress, and hardly seems to be one obsessed with her looks. She's naturally very attractive, but that's certainly not her fault. She has a master's degree in the Fine Arts/Theatre from Yale. I think that that accomplishment in and of itself proves she's not entirely superficial.

Yes. She made the lame boring script watchable when she was on-screen. Anytime, though, they cut away from her, the film became actors phoning in drivel masquerading as dialogue, unfortunately.

She's done some crap, but her bad acting is in bad movies. She's done a lot of great work as well. I don't know why she keeps opting to do obviously low-quality productions. It isn't a budget thing, because she's done plenty of really good indie stuff. Who knows? But she can act.

A greater concern is, are people like Basset and Thompson going to start doing this kind of *beep* all the time?
