Skyfall ripoff? (spoilers)

Am I the only one who thought the final showdown at Times Square felt a lot like the Shanghai scene from Skyfall? It even involved the protagonist chasing a villain at the top of a skyscraper and a fight which culminated in the villain falling to his death. Not only that, but the villain had a sniper rifle like in Skyfall.
