For fans of the book series, what are your favorite stories.

The Boxcar Children: The story that started it all. A believable adventure that really put my mind in imagination mode as a child.

The Houseboat Mystery: The best thing about the adventures the Alden children experience is that they are believable. The houseboat made for an interesting backdrop.

The Snowbound Mystery: Growing up north and reading this around the time of the 1977 massive snow fall I identified with this story very much.

I enjoyed the pizza place mystery, Castle mystery or something like that where they stay at a castle for a while lol, and the disapeering friend mystery. These were all later in the series and not by the original 2 authors. They were a good way to earn accelerated reader points in the fourth grade lol. I thought this movie did the first book and the series justice, I enjoyed the imagery of the film and the feelings and the appreciation of nature it invoked. As 24 a year old guy/film enthusiast who's movie taste is pretty all over the place, this movie has my sincere appreciation:)
