It wasn't that bad...

Yeah, I know, it wasn't the greatest most awesome TPB ever to hit the screen. But the cast is all about to be too old to do this stuff. It's starting to get kind of ridiculous, but I honestly think I could watch Bubbles in his walker going to help Ricky with his Depends and it would be funny as hell to me. I am a TPB addict.

I thought the scipt was good and the plot was decent. Some of the acting was a little flat, but kind of to be expected considering the hiatus. Ricky was vintage Ricky, with an abundance of new Rickyisms.

For someone who has been jonesin' for some new material, it was great to see. I'm fine with it not being the greatest and best ever, I don't expect it to be. There will never be another peak, that time has passed. For what it was, I thought it was great.

Someone accidently drinking urine thinking that it's liquor was an obvious gag they missed (it was done in an episode of Hill Street Blues). It certainly would be more funnier than Lahey snorting coke off Randy's underwear.

I actually thought that part was pretty funny. Yeah, I am surprised they didn't do more with the piss comedy... was expecting Ricky to somehow become drenched in piss at some point. I think the funniest line was when Ricky said "then you're gonna be selling *beep* for some reason!" I laughed my ass off. The other line I cracked up at was Julian talking to Terry and Dennis' grandmother... "your grandsons are robbing me... you don't have any idea what I'm saying..." Other hilarious moments were Bubbles living under J-Roc's steps, and J-Roc explaining how Sara was his 'main bitch' now.

Yeah the cast seen very aged and worn out as if there have actually lived the lives of there characters!!

Have I missed something here- Is this a documentary ;)

I still liked it- Hell its Trailer park boys and its new material, but it isnt up to the previous standard.

What have these actors been doing in the mean time?

I really liked the movie, but you can really tell that some time has gone by. Lucy and JRoc for me seem to be aging the fastest. Unfortunately Lahey too. I worry abuot Randy's health...he seems to be getting bigger. Still on the cheeseburgers like a mah!

It wasn't bad. It just wasn't very good, either. They made up for it with Season 8, though. It was very good.

I've read mixed reviews on Season 8. I personally rate it up there with season 2 and 3 as among the best, but many disagree with me. The main complaint I gathered was they were unhappy the boys stuck to the formula too much.. yeah, like it would be better if they had done something completely unpredictable and away from what had worked in the past! Don't ask me, wasn't MY opinion.

I like this movie better than some of the previous movies because some of them felt like they were trying to hard to cram TPB stuff into a movie to appeal to people who had never seen the series. So the first one in particular, kind of has a "Best of TPB" feel to it. Since then, it seems each successive movie has more and more 'freedom' to step out on it's own, away from the series a bit.

I think they took some chances here, and to me it pays off. I don't really care to see "best of TPB" volume 3.

PrimeMinisterofTheSinister uh this movie was better than every episode but one in season 8 that I saw. The final episode of season 8 was the only good one. If they don't get better writers I don't see how they can do more seasons. As for this movie it was more true to the Trailer Park Boys and for true fans of the show it was a treat.
