Which movie did you like the most?

For me it was this one. It had a large amount of cast members make appearances, was absolutely hilarious, (even the subtle things like Ricky's mispronunciations or the prop/sight gags), and was the perfect length at around an hour and a half. By the time your face and stomach hurt from laughing, the credits are rolling. It was almost like a "greatest hits" of the show yet the inclusion of the legalizing marijuana made it unique and original too.

I liked this movie, but my favourite is still the Christmas Special - which was bacially a pre-quel to the series.

I always liked the first movie, with Ricky being the captain of his hockey team and making goalie equipment out of milk jugs.

I know it basically just recycled a lot of the show, but I still found it to be the strongest of the films.

This one seemed to be the effort with the most original content, though.

My favorite is the 1999 short that they've, for some reason, seem to disavow. It wasn't even in the Cheeseburger Locker set that said 'Complete' on it. I had to 'acquire' it by other means. It's really funny.

'Countdown to Liquor Day' was my introduction to the Trailer Park Boys. I had never heard of them when I saw that movie on cable one day. I really liked it at the time because I didn't know the characters. I looked it up and saw that a lot of Trailer Park Boys fans didn't like it so much because a lot of the changes. Not knowing about the changes, it didn't bother me the first time I saw it, however, once I watched the entire series and then got back to that movie, I saw what people were talking about. I still think it's a good movie with some very funny jokes in it, but I get the complaints and I did lose some love for it on my second viewing.

I despise 'The Big Dirty'. I only watched it once and I'll probably never watch it again. I hated it. It was just a rehash of old material and was made solely to appeal to people that hadn't seen the show.

I haven't seen the new one yet, so I can't comment on it.

I didn't think The Big Dirty was too bad, it was far from the best but it was still decent. I saw the entire series before Countdown to Liquor Day, so that movie was sort of a let down, I enjoyed it but I thought it could have been better. From the sounds of it, the new movie is by far the best one, I've heard nothing bad about so far.

Yeah, I haven't seen many reactions to it, but the few I've seen were all positive.

for me, I like everything they have done. Watched all the series on Netflixs over the last few weeks, and then found out there was a Christmas special prequal, and spin off films, loved all of it including the big dirty, it does rehash some of the first series material, but there is quite a lot of new material in there too, but then again I have only seen the series once.

Being a stoner i'm surprised it took me this long to watch TPB, but in a way I just got to watch all 7 series and the movies, then I find out there is more specials due out soon and two new series being filmed airing in Autumn!

This show just grew on me slowly and then I real;ised that i had fallen in love with it and it's endearing characters.

Favourite character is Jim Lahey, then the boys, and Ray.

I feel like an addict now waiting for my next fix.

big dirty > don't legalize it > countdown to liquor day

the big dirty was classic TPB, basically a long episode but with a thicker plot.

The second film was a big let down. It felt like it was about to get funny but never did

The third film had far more funny moments than the second although they could have made it funnier outside the trailer park.

1. The Big Dirty - produced as a way to catch new fans up with the show, it was a fun romp harkening back to the show's heyday.

2. Don't Legalize It - all in all a good time, not as hilarious as I hoped... a fun road movie.

3. Countdown to Liquor Day - pretty darkened tone here, took too long to adjust to that & then it was already half over.

The Christmas Special if we're counting that blows them all out of the water... it's probably my fav episode of them all.

The "making of" bonus feature on the Christmas special dvd is almost as awesome as the Christmas special.

Which we learn was filmed on a tiny budget during an unexpected summer heatwave, so the whole crew worked like maniacs to alter climate & bend time back 6 years & stretch every penny to give us that flawless illusion of a bygone snow-covered Sunnyvale. Wow.

Agreed, this was the best movie and the funniest TPB since the first few seasons.

This movie here, TPB: Don't Legalize It, was more true to the show and definitely the best of the movies. It isn't even close. The others were too over the top Hollyweird style. I hated the other movies. As for people mentioning the Xmas special and the short or whatever those were not movies so why mention them?
