David Gulpilil deserves an Oscar nomination.

He has just received the best actor award at Cannes. Everything this actor has done deserves the highest award possible. Maybe this will be the one that gives him international attention, and gives him more drive to keep doing what he does best. Huge thanks must go to Rolf de Heer, and his faith in David Gulpilil for making this a reality.

I agree. And the script was fantastic.

I agree! Very believable. Real. I wanted to laugh when he laughed at injustice yet cry when he was so unfairly treated. Moved me. A story that needs to be told about the white man and their 'influence' on the entire world.
