This movie is absolute garbage

I couldn't make past 10 minutes with the terrible acting. Just embarrassing.

Agreed, *beep* acting and horrible cutting.. big lol

What accent do you think the actors have? I'm thinking Canadian?

reply

Canadian!!

I dont know if you being sarcastic or just stupid!

It was obviously Cuban with a slight hint of Israeli.

Yeah it was pretty bad. I can overlook A LOT of things being poorly done in a horror movie, since they're clearly just genre pictures made for cheap. But the kill scenes at least need to be well done and fun. This didn't even do that. It was the typical axe in the back shot over and over, and sometimes not even on screen.

Like I said, you know you've made a bad movie when even the death scenes in your horror movie are boring and awful...

This movie wasn't just cliched and unoriginal. It was also mostly predictable:

1. I knew who the final girl was gonna be when she was introduced.
2. I knew the bitchy chick was going to get horribly killed.
3. I knew the dude with the gun was going to die saving her when he introduced himself.
4. I knew she was going to say to the gun-toting guy, "No, I'm not leaving without my friends."
5. After the eyebrow chick was killed and the second victim was taken to be killed, I knew the dude on the bike would free himself.
6. When the guy gave her the gun, I knew she would use it to shoot the killer but not make sure he's dead.
7. I knew the killer would end up showing up later after getting shot.
8. I knew the random guy taking a piss was going to be killed.
9. I knew there'd be no cell phone service.

I congratulate myself on knowing these things and several other things. But I predicted some things wrongly:
1. I thought eyebrow chick would end up being in cahoots with the slasher. Her creepy eyebrows ended up making her seem like a villain in disguise.
2. When the driver stopped in the forest in the end and got out of the car, I thought it would turn out he was related to the killer.
3. When the guy with the gun starts talking with the killer, I thought there'd be a big fight. It was so disappointing to see him just walk up to the guy and offer himself to be killed without a fight.
4. Usually in slasher movies, the final girl doesn't receive much violence. But it surprised me that she received quite a pummeling in this movie.

I understand this was supposed to be a b-movie purely for escapism. But several things made me say WTF and jarred me out of the movie:

1. The bitchy girl didn't want to go on the trip in the first place; she didn't want to look for her friends; she didn't want to hike to the house; and when she got to the house and saw the dead fox, she didn't want to continue to stay there. So why is it that when she heard the sound in the house she started to investigate? That was completely out of her character. She wasn't adventurous at all. Yet she someone became adventurous at the last minute and decided to explore the dark and creepy rooms inside the house?
2. When the bitchy girl got out of her hiding place, why didn't she immediately run away? Why did she just stand around whimpering?
3. Why didn't they show the killer taking the two friends away? Seems like that part should have been included.
4. Did the killer take the two from the camp one at a time or at the same time? We're lead to believe it's a long hike from the campsite to the house. Even if he took them together, it seems like one helluva long trek to make with two bodies. If it was one at a time, it seems like a long, tedious trek for two bodies.
5. Where did the chain come from? The killer just trips the biker, lets the guy fall, and then allows him to wander around dazed before attacking him?
6. The guy with the gun said he'd been tracking the killer for 10 years. Why did it take so long to find the killer and his lair?
7. Why did the guy with the gun only bring two bullets? He shot at the killer, gives the gun to the girl, and tells her there's one bullet left. Who in the world only travels with two bullets?
8. Due to the fact that they can't get cell phone service, the movie wants the audience to feel the area is isolated. However, there seems to be a lot of people visiting that area within a short period of time: when the final girl is running from the killer, she finds bodies hanging. Due to the lack of decomposition, it's obvious the bodies have been there recently. There are at least a dozen bodies hanging. Then there's the body in the trunk. Then there's the guy with the gun; the two other campers, including the peeing guy; the five friends; and then the driver. So what are around 2 dozen people doing in an area that is so isolated it can't get cell service?
9. Why did the guy with the gun not put up a fight? He gives this big speech, he's real dramatic, and I'm thinking, "Wow, they're really building up this guy's character. Due to his attitude, I'd say there might be this huge fight between him and the killer. He may die but he won't die without a fight." When the killer walks up to him, I'm thinking, "Yes, here comes a huge fight." But then WTF?! HE DIED WITHOUT A FIGHT!?!!
10. How is it possible for the final girl and the cyclist to be punched in the face so badly but then their faces aren't bruised at all?
11. Why did the driver just stop his car and then say he's going to walk the two or two minutes back to the other house? I can't remember if it was 2 miles or two minutes but was he really so low on gas that he couldn't drive there? Also, he didn't seem to be in a hurry to get help. He's got a badly injured woman in his car and he's just trudging away from the car like it's no big deal?
12. How come the driver got lost? Why was he driving around in a place he was unfamiliar with?
13. Where did the automobile graveyard come from? I suppose it was near the house, so why would they put an auto graveyard in a supposedly isolated place?
14. How was the final girl able to operate such complex machinery? If it was easy to operate, why would the owners of the scrapyard just leave the machine operational like that for anyone to just walk up to and use?

Weird movie.

That is truly impressive.

At first, after watching the movie I thought the movie was weird and stupid. Now I realize it's just weird. I mainly kept watching the movie because I was so transfixed on the chick with the eyebrows. For the life of me, I could not stop watching them!

When the killer was ripping off her clothes and taking off her panties, I wanted to see if there were other parts of her body where she had shaved her hair and painted fake hair onto.

reply

Lol. I think I made it 10 minutes in.

reply

Unfortunately I watched the whole thing. It was just awful. Absolutely no build up of tension whatsoever.
