Well if you can't do original... Steal someone else's work!

This is a complete rip off of a Psycho Holocaust (2009)!! Far too many similarities... including the prowess and demeanor of the characters. In the movie making biz, movies come from a novel, comic, re-make or old TV show... There are so very few originals out there. The last bastion of hope is to copy/steal others ideas in order to make their own. Psycho Holocaust wasn't an award winner, but it was Original based of old cliche horror from 70's/80's. And to steal it's likeness, story, character and feel of what was created is THEFT... If the idea was taken from a big budget Hollywood cut, there would be massive lawsuits.

In Short, I see no reason to see this film, as I've already seen the Original!

Eh, didn't even know this film existed lol. Just watched the trailer, are you really telling me that out of all the huge Hollywood blockbuster horror's we could copy from, we decided to watch a micro budget indie film and say to ourselves "Ok guys, forget about the million dollar franchises horror movies, I've found a film no one has ever heard of that I think we should waste thousands of £$£$£$£ on copying"

You might like our next film, it's called Psycho Holocaust 2 :)

OMG. I'm going to assume that you are actually the writer/director listed in the credits for this movie. Let me say that this is one of the better horror movies that I have watched recently. I really enjoyed it. I especially liked that you avoided the common cliché nowadays in horror movies where the killer comes back to life in the final seconds of the movie just after dying. It was nice to finally see a movie where the hero/heroine lives and the villain dies.

BTW. Since you were the Director of Photography, I wanted to let you know that I thought the special effects and use of multiple camera angles were very effective and gave the viewer a sense of realism.

In terms of the OP, I would suggest that you disregard his/her criticism. All slasher horror movies have some similarities, so any accusations of copying are just plain silly. The truth of the matter is that any modern-day slasher movie is simply the natural byproduct of 50 years of horror movies.

In an age where a plethora of really bad horror movies are released continuously, your movie was a pleasant surprise to me. Do you have any other horror movies that you've written which you could recommend to me?

Your way of doing things is "I've never seen this movie but I'll slate it anyway"? Good idea. I'd like a broken down analysis of exactly everything that was original in Psycho Holocaust that was stolen by The Redwood Massacre.

Moron, psycho holocaust has a guy with a mask, wielding a *beep* chainsaw in it, and you have the audacity to come on here and call out someone as a thief.

I mean a masked chainsaw wielding killer is totally original, never ever been done before...

Psycho holocaust was a rip off of chainsaw massacre with terrible sound, shaky camera work and a bunch of perverts trying to do a rape scene for shock factor... it was so bad to watch, so bad i wanted to carve my eyes out with a spoon but even all my spoons decided to go arnie from terminator 2 and lower themselves into a vat of boiling metal....

After the movie I took to the highest mountain to scream the loudest NOOOOOOOO!!! like the asians do in martial arts movies when their father or sensei dies or is murdered...

Its a big fat NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! in steve carell from the office fashion, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Psycho Holocaust only originality was that it made me want to buy a 4mp phone camera and make a better movie than it...

If that is your praise, then i pray for your sins and may you be blessed for another day my poor child

I take it 'Psycho Holocaust' was the first horror film you've ever seen then if you think this is a rip-off of that  MANY slasher flicks follow the 'teens go camping and get hacked up' story. I wrote one, too.
