I'm on season 1 episode 7 (please, no one post any S1 spoilers) and it's safe to say that I LOVE this goddamn show. The big question is... where the hell can I buy this?!? DVD Region doesn't matter, I just need links: Torrents, Actual DVD, it doesn't matter how or what, I just need to find it - specifically Season 2. S1 was easy enough to locate, but S2 is like a myth. The page says there's a season 2, but I can't find it anywhere. It says the final episode aired April 2016, But, like I said, I can't find any information ...
Also, the US remake.. Has anyone watched it? How does it hold up to this?? I have no will to watch the remake (yet) considering how much I love the original, just curious. Is it like an exact copy?
If life gives you MELONS, then you probably have DYSLEXIA.
Glad you are enjoying it. Have you finished the show and what did you think of the last episodes?
You will have to import the DVD from the UK. It is also avaialble in the UK version of online stores such as Google Play and Amazon.
The English version of Season 2 should be released at the end of the year or start of 2017.
The US version is the same storyline but the resolution is slightly different. It is a lot darker in tone and a lot of innocent people die. Oddly enough though it is less violent.
There are a few annoyances... but they managed to work themselves out in the end. Like the first few episodes, I was getting pretty annoyed that every single one of the bad guys' plans were getting foiled, but by the last episodes, that actually got me around to liking the Doctor more and her fight to survive - Honestly, I wasn't on her side, until probably ep 7-8, I was pretty much yelling, "Just do it, just kill the PM!!" at my tv... but, full-circle and now she's my girl! Also, in the first few episodes, I though they made a HUGE mistake by making the hostage takers so likeable (Mostly Adam and the brother in law... and even Alex, I love a good villain.) I was rooting for Adam for half the season, before I realized that I was supposed to be rooting for him.
I think it's a little too neat not to have any collateral damage killing - The gardener, the dog (<<<Which is funny, because I hate when they kill the dog for effect, in shows/movies.) The one guy that was killed, Alex, should not've died! He was a good maniac. But, I guess that cop is going to have to take his place.
My other gripe is the end decision for the Doc to finally go ahead with the plan. At first, I thought she realized that like her, Adam was willing to do whatever it took to save his family and after viewing the surveillance tape, Yael, having bonded with her captor and realizing that the PM was a bad man, decided that maybe it was not such a bad thing for him to have to die... BUT then I realized that she spoke to the morgue guy and also got that phonecall from her son about the dog... so basically, I felt that she only killed the PM, because she knew he wasn't actually going to die... and for me, I think it would've been more impactful for a Doctor to decide to kill a man. But how they did it - with her knowing and all - was kind of limp.
I do tend to read into and get really invested into shows, which is why I get so nitpicky and annoyed, but all in all, I love this show and am pissed that I'm going to have to wait till goddamn 2017 to see season 2.
I did manage to find S1 on amazon France and S2 pre-order in amazon UK, so there's that.

Do you have access to U.S. Netflix? Series 1 is on Netflix at the moment.
Hoping that Series 2 will show up--eventually.
I tried looking for Series 2 on Amazon Prime subscription through ROKU, if only to see if they might have posted series 2 episodes up on a pay-per-episode program, even if it was not free with Prime.
But no. Nothing yet.
I was hoping to find it for pay per ep on Amazon. It's often that you can get series 1 on Netflix. Then you see that series 1 and 2 of something is up on Amazon, but you have to pay per ep.
Can't count the times I've not been able to wait for the series 2 of something to come to Netflix for all inclusive...and saw series 1 on Netflix then paid to see series 2 on Amazon because I just couldn't wait! haha
Also, with Hostages, any copies of Series 2 out there and around are all in Hebrew---it doesn't seem English sub versions have made their way around the internet yet.
GAH!
I did find a series 2 trailer on YouTube--it's in Hebrew but that doesn't matter. You can see from the extensive trailer what happens with some of our characters. WO.
