Can people really be this lame?

Up until this moment I didn't even realize you can care at all about your shoes, yet alone wrap your so called subculture around it. We have a saying in my language: pulling ideas really from the bottom of your heels. Truly stupid notion.

Its a well-established subculture that harkens back to the 90s. Shoes can be collected, a single pair can be worth upwards of $1,000 because of their rarity etc. I wouldn't call it lame

Oh because you've seen the film? How about you wait to actually see something before making a judgement about it.

reply

I have not seen this movie but I have already seen one on collecting shoes. I really enjoyed it.

I don't consider myself a shoe collector but I appreciate a good shoe.

An who are you to call someone that enjoys collecting something they like lame. I am sure you do things that people other may consider lame whether collecting something, being on Facebook or social media all day, or taking selfies.

reply

Yeah who cares what other people collect? It doesn't involve me so it doesn't matter. And we all collect something or have some kind of hobby that someone else would look at and think is odd. As someone who knew very little about sneaker culture (other than that it exists), this wasn't a terrible documentary to watch over Netflix on a lazy afternoon. I certainly don't look down on anyone who collect them, like I said its a harmless thing to do for the most part...

reply

You don't even get the concept that its about people that collect shoes not just sneakers. You seem like a lonely troll.

How did you stumble across this documentary? I've always known about this hobby, but just found it on Netflix when I clicked a link for similar documentaries when I viewed another program.

It would really help your point if you specified what language you're referring to, because...you're writing in English, and that sentence doesn't make any sense at all. Is that same as saying, "you pulled that out of your ass"? Or "you're talking out the side of your neck"? Please elaborate.
