It's a decent documentary. Not great, but decent. Unfortunately, there have been so many documentaries on WWII in the last ten years they all just seem to be the same info, presented in a different way and with a different narrator.

It does leave a bit to be desired, as again, it is pretty much the same footage and info released many times, with a lot of added filler. For someone who is not familiar with WWII, though, it's pretty decent.

I still think that the best WWII doc is the original, if you will: World at War. This doc is long, for sure, but it's very informative and doesn't leave much to the imagination. It slaps you in the face...exactly what a doc about this subject should do.

I would give Hitler and the Nazis a three out of five stars. Again, adequate, but nothing new, and nothing special.

This is a surface level documentary, people, dates, and numbers. It doesn't really go into serious academic like history, it's just what happens and when.
