I Just Saw This

The acting was great, as was the buildup and the story. It's filmed primarily through camcorders, so if you don't like that...well, don't let that dissuade you. The movie was very well done, especially for a low-budget indie.

David Macrae (Michael) was great as the cult leader. He was very believable in the role, as were the rest of the cast. I didn't really expect much from this because, let's face it, it's a low budget indie. However, it was a gripping and thrilling movie. I highly recommend it. I can't really say the story's original since it's been played out in real life, hello Jim Jones. Still it was done in a serious and realistic manner. I do have to say that the ending disturbed me, and I don't get like that very easily. One thing I didn't like. They never said what happened to Kevin.

I have to admit, chrismackey, your posts do give off this "I'm affiliated with this movie" type of vibe. Can't quite explain it but it's there. The first time I saw your post for Crawl or Die I thought you had to be affiliated with the movie. But you sounded sincere so I retracted. However, this is the 3rd low budget movie I've seen you post about since then and you still seem like you're affiliated with the movies you write about. I don't think Poo is all that wrong. It's just weird how you stick up for some of these low budget movies the way you do. Maybe you didn't make the film. Perhaps own a video store that sells these types of movies and promoting them would be good for your business. Either that or you may own an indie cinema.

I dunno, man. It's just weird how you seem like you had something to do with these movies.

Just meh. Nothing special here. It was somewhat compelling throughout. The ending was okay, if a little ambiguous regarding a couple of points. Worth a watch if you are into the 'found footage/hand held' genre. You will be asking a couple of questions of the movie by 2/3rds of the way in... but I won't 'drain' you with it. ;)

This movie was bad, pointless, boring. Nothing interesting happens and I'm kind of glad everyone involved died. There was no suspense, tension or excitement. The ending was just stupid.
