It Follows (2014) vs Don't Breathe (2016)

I LIKED BOTH...I WOULD RATHER REWATCH DON'T BREATHE THOUGH...SO I GUESS THATS MY ANSWER.

Don't Breathe is much better than It Follows.

It Follows is much better than Don't Breathe.

There's nothing remotely similar about these two movies.

It Follows was a film with a much smarter premise. I sort of wished they did a bit more with it than what they did.

Don't Breathe had a rather basic premise that was stretched to 90 minutes of taut tension. It was well made and decently paced for being such a simple film located in such a diminutive location. It's not easy to make films like Don't Breathe. So from a filmmaking point of view, it's far superior to It Follows just for the technical achievements of being a small scale horror film with small stakes and a grounded (anti?) villain.

Don't Breathe is a great little Horror/Thriller but It Follows is one of the best of all time.
