Actually, Einstein did appear (briefly). As I recall, The visit to him facilitated the release of Frank from the prison, back to The Hill (as a private).

shareEinstein did appear, but it was just the back of his head, and just for a moment. It was enough to recognize that it was supposed to be Albert Einstein and nothing more. I think it was when Liza Winters went to see him about finding Frank.

shareThey talked about Vannevar Bush coming but I don't think they showed him. Maybe it was the death of President Roosevelt death that prevented him coming. Frank was planning on crashing the meeting with him.
Vannevar was not related to the political Bushes. He was smarter than all of them combined. He pushed and kicked butt to get the atomic bomb done and was at the Trinity test at Alamogordo with Oppenheimer.

Bush did make it to the Hill. Darrow had tried to keep Frank out of the way by assigning him to tickle the dragon's tail, but he got exposed to so much radiation they had to bring him back.
Frank was about to talk to Bush when Darrow got word of FDR's death and ceremoniously put the flag at half staff.
