No Season 3 for Manhattan

I just learned this week that season 3 has been cancelled. I was a little disappointed that this series was not picked up for a subsequent season. I thought there was plenty of plot twist that could evolve after the the finale of season 2. Evidentally, the series creators, or the network didn't see it that way. But sometimes, because of public outcry, things do turn around for the better. I would like to see the series continue, even if it wasn't on WGNusa. I don't currently have access to WGN, only through internet sources. So if maybe FOX or TNT or even SyFi could renew the series I would would be happy to continue watching. As long as it doesn't get weird.

Are you sure? If so, that totally sucks! I told my friends it's the best show no one's watching! Manhattan and Halt and Catch Fire were two total gems. No one I knew was watching HACF either.

I watched both. Try to find the old TV movie Pirates of Silicon Valley about the early days of personal computers. Has Jobs and Gates in it. And I recognized a lot of HACF things in it.

2 of the best shows I've ever seen.
Of course this is cancelled. People don't respond to quality storytelling these days.
Hipefull halt doesn't get axed too.

Actually, I think they had one more EPISODE left to tie things up and send them on.

The finale was really the culmination.

We only needed to see the players move on.

One episode would have done it.

If they had known they were being canceled, it would have been added on or the others compressed to produce a better finale. That's the trouble with these more independently produced shows. They don't know they're canceled until way after airing, and then it's too late to produce any sort of conclusion to provide closure. That's what makes U.S. TV inferior to others.

Can you tell me, what makes you THINKthere was a final conclusive episode.

I don't understand why they just wouldn't show it, it would have, like you said, tie things up and would have had a culmination to the series.

With that said, I can honestly say, there will never be a 3rd season or a culmination to the season, other than what was shown. Sorry dude, that's just the way things happen sometimes. No fanfare, no long teary eyed farewells, just THE END.
