It's so bad it may be the demise of this show.

I don't know which is worse..

In the elimination challenge Week 2, throwback fashion painting:

The notion that Dutch was in the bottom 4 with his amazing attention to, and execution of detail.

OR.. That Natalie won 1st place again, and she wins with poor execution and weak line work.

OR.. That Gear was in the bottom 2 when A) He didn't deserve it for his piece and B) He's a top 3 artist in technical ability on the entire show.

I'm beginning to think there is some kind of agenda here. Are they judging character or are they judging art? If they were asking me whether or not Dutch seems like a douche bag I'd say yes. But this competition isn't about strength of character. If you ask me if I thought Natalie seemed like a sweet girl, then I would say yes absolutely. But he art work has been less than stellar yet she keeps winning challenge after challenge. What is going on here!?

With Dutch, I think the judges are trying to get through to him that they know he's talented but he's not pushing himself. His outfit was safe and not does not really make you think of the 80's.

Dutch's personality leaves a lot to be desired, and from this past week the judges said being a body artist means working well with others. This isn't a one-man show that he's trying to make it.

Also, and very importantly, the judges point out each week how he doesn't follow directions. From week one he's painted his vision . . . which showcases his undeniable talent . . . but he doesn't paint the whole model, or he forgets an element, or he spends too much time on a prothesis and not on the model, or he goes in his own direction.

Just like Felle, who left this week because of his chronic monochrome palate, Dutch may find himself going home because he didn't listen to his client.

And Dutch cost the team last week from being in the top. Natalie wanted to pick Gear for the 3rd member of the team but Dutch wanted someone he could control so they went with Felie and he brought the team down.

If they would've had Gear and his UV paint skills they would've won handily.

Oh, is this show still airing? I haven't seen any adverts, and gave up on it two weeks in, admittedly.
