Any else hate Reggie's Wife??

The show is okay. First season pretty good. 2nd season just okay. 3rd season is pretty bad. and Reggie's wife is the most annoying of all. She causes unnecessary conflict and I don't understand why the show wastes time on her storyline. The whole misspelling on the letter thing was dumb. And I get what they were trying to do with the model. But it didn't get the point across and seemed unnecessary.

Not me.

Often in shows, the wives are depicted as bitchy, whiny, needy, jealous and demanding. Missy is the complete opposite. She's smart, classy, tolerant, supportive and an independent thinker. I love her.

Not being a member of the polite southern aristocratic society, yeah, the whole misspelled name on the letter may seem dumb to the unindoctrinated. But as it played out, it was demonstrated that it would have been insulting to the intended. You ever receive a letter of application for employment from someone wherein they misspelled your name?

There were a few messages conveyed regarding the model ordeal.
• Like Reggie told her, that despite her views, it's Cam's brand they're living off and providing them their opportunities.
• From the model's perspective, yes, she was hired that time. But most of the time, she doesn't get the job either and she needed that money.

I know hyper pigmented who feel slighted and I know less saturated who feel bullied. This is a colorless machination and the whole hue table needs to get past it.

It's a waste of time for a 30 min episode. The show keeps getting worse. And the it just seems like they want to give the wife some purpose. But this show is terrible at getting its point across. And the wife is the worst. At 30 min episode about a misspelling. And and nannying wife overstepping her boundaries. Hope Cam fires her.

This is the thing, the show parodies our societal customs, traditions, views, laws and beliefs. The point is to show the stupidity of some, the hypocrisy of others, and even those we feel are wrong, how sometimes they're necessary.

It's my opinion that the last episode is where the season is finally getting back on track after Uncle Julius' death -- the drug dealer's wedding & reception. I finally had a semi-laugh. I'm getting to the point.

and even those we feel are wrong, how sometimes they're necessary.

People from meager beginnings who've made it big get rebuked when it seems they haven't given back, don't keep in touch, or have turned their backs on old friends, some relatives, and hometown acquaintances. That episode made the expression, "you can't go home again," very clear and relatable. Instead of criticizing the new wealthy for keeping their distance, I totally empathize with
their dilemma.

Back to Missy:
Her background and upbringing is where they are now: Geographically, economically, and customarily. While Reggie keeps Cam in check, Missy's needed to integrate the family into the polite south.

Ghetto is common. Missy's POV is fresh. I haven't seen it since Whitley Gilbert.

Excellent point

Oh dear did you miss the point or you just don't care! That's ok if you don't but in this show there are many points of views which they bring to the screen whether it's a popular one or not! I like that!

Yeah she is starting to irk me.
