Is this movie going to be

As boring and depressing as March of the Penguins?

Don't get me wrong, I like nature and history documentaries, but I hate how they advertise it as being one thing when it is really another. With March all of the ads were showing the "fun" parts of the movie. Plus they interviewed people at the theater about how cute penguins are, and how they walked so cute - the interviews must have been done prior to them seeing the movie.

It pissed me off that I then go and rent this "cute" movie for my young kids to watch, and it all about death, death, death, babies dying, death and death.

Had they advertised it as such, no one would have spent their money to go see it as a "family" movie. At some point when my kids were older it wouldn't have been a big deal, but a 3 or 4 year old doesn't need to be depressed after seeing a "family" movie.

And....off soap box.

It might only be a museum Imax documentary and about 40 minutes long, but even being that short, nature docs tend to be pretty gruesome at times. I won't know how bad it is until the Imax theater I work at releases it on 4/4.

"Ohhhh, WHERE IS IT?"-Edgar suit.

I really would like to know this too! The trailer is cute and a we'd like to take all our kids next week. But one child is in elementary school & will freak and / or sob if something graphically violent occurs or one of the starring lemurs dies.
justnicknamed did you see this and find out?
Thanks!
