S4E3 - Chinese ads?

When Bobbie went to meet the corrupt detective on the train/tube/whatever there was Chinese ads playing in the background along with the announcer after the English one. Does the Chinese own a part of Mars or what? Almost feels like Amazon sold out to some Chinese investor or something so they're forced to put in these ads.
