First of all I'm really liking this show, might just be my favourite scifi series. But the reason I started watching this was because I'm a fan of Tom Jane and I was really happy to see him in a quality show after some of the crap he's been in. So I really hate that they killed his character midway through season 2. He was the most interesting character in the show.

I don't think he's gone. I think we're going to see him as they explore Venus.

I'm on Book 4 of the series. He should, but you never know, make a return in season 3, though possibly in a diminished role.

I thought I saw him in a preview for Season 3. Maybe it was old footage.

He was a great character but the show is still good.

Love this character too, I never assumed he actually died though.

I guess detective Miller and his lover Julie Mao are still "alive" in another advanced live form.
