shareIt wasn't quite the quality of the early stuff but cancelled is a bit much. Though I don't know where it would have gone with the addition of so many people in the finale. Perhaps the next season would have opened with them all taking off their gas masks and then all dying a short while later. Teasing the group with some, albeit small form of civilization only to snatch it away from them.
shareI kind of feel like they would've been a band of underground hippies or something. Whatever they were, the gang would leave/escape about halfway through the season, then wander free again with a new perspective and hope of finding another large community they'd fit in better with.
