the frank zappa conection

Did anyone notice that when they go to the movies in the film and you hear, but don't see, the American film they are watching that the talking in from, the Frank Zappa album "We're Only In It For The Money." I didn't notice it mentioned in the credits but they are all in French and I have difficulty reading any language so perhaps I missed it.

motekmotek, Ha! That Zappa segment was my favorite part of the movie. I own "We're Only in It for the Money" and instantly recognized the cut during the movie theater scene in The Blue Room. (At the end of that scene my mind went straight into "Bow Tie Daddy".) The Mothers of Invention album came out in 1968, which made me wonder what old movie both Zappa and The Blue Room had gotten the recording from.

I got my album and read the credits, but I couldn't find credit given to an old movie for that piece. The album cover does say "All lyrics copyright for the world by FRANK ZAPPA MUSIC CO., INC., a subsidiary of Third Story Music, Inc. BMI" So I guess the movie soundtrack in The Blue Room was written by Zappa and there was no movie the cut originally came from.

Yes I caught that in the background in the movie theater. Were his lyrics used in a movie?
