Theory - You're the Worst is a sequel to Traffic Light

Was watching FOX's wonderful but ill-fated Traffic Light http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1809194/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_24 from 2011 on Netflix and it hit me... You're the Worst is a sequel to Traffic Light with Gretchen (Aya Cash) being the key to both shows.

We know Gretchen has problems with depression and sometimes loses focus on reality to the point of creating her own narrative.

What if... Callie on Traffic Light is really Gretchen living under an assumed/fake name while trying to create a new life away from all the problems she had before.
Watching Callie's mannerisms and actions, it's not a huge leap to see how how they could be one in the same.
She is trying to hide from her past and create a new life in Traffic Light.
It doesn't seem like Adam and Callie/Gretchen have been together for that long.
Callie's obsession with the toy Adam loses.
Callie is in major debt.
Callie's love for being naked...
It all makes sense!

Plus, both shows are connected with FOX... One was on FOX, the other on FX/FXX.
