So sad to hear of Gene's passing.

His footprints are the last set that humans have made on the moon. He even wrote his daughters initials in the lunar dust.

On his trip to the moon, he took an iconic photo of the Earth known as "Blue Marble".

I'm watching the documentary again now and hearing him say he has made a deal with his dog on them both living 10 years, he almost made it. A hero to me. And his daughter's initials are still in the regolith beside the rover.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
