Why would I want to watch a much lesser version of the same show?

shareThe American one is a version of the same franchise, just like the Indian one is, for example. But the Canadian one if more like a direct play-by-play imitation of the American one.

Because the show started in the UK, where it was simpler and more enjoyable to watch. The American version is overblown and has just caused all subsequent versions to overdo the format.

I agree that the U.K. version is hands down the best. The weekly skills test along with the various cooking competitions makes it an engaging show..
