Perfect for binge-watching!

This show is perfect for binge-watching! Once I got a handle on all the characters, which for me happened during episode 2, the humor and suspense kept building at a rapid pace; no one should have to wait a week between episodes.

I can't think of another half hour of television that was funnier AND more thrilling than season 1, episode 10, and I'm 60 years old, kids, so my opinion counts more than yours! Also, STAY OFF MY LAWN!!!

But I digress. Where was I? Oh yes: AND FINALLY, all of you who dismissed this show as a ¨Dr. Strangelove ripoff¨ are officially idiots. You need to have a car battery attached to your nipples until you recant your jejune comments and promise to never publicly express your opinion on any subject ever again. That's right, I'm playing the ¨shouting 'fire' in a crowded theater¨ card, so just shut up, you wretched children!

I think so too. Not too long, not too deep, not too stupid. Good show overall.

That it is but for weekly viewers it just isn't enough.

The critics couldn't have been more wrong about a show.

There's not as much black-comedy as Dr. Strangelove but that doesn't mean satire can t offer zany, quick-paced, cannon-fire styled comedy the way The Brink does. Some people don't seem to get that or are made that they aren't getting it. It doesn't have to be exactly like something else you've seen before just because it is a political satire... The constant comparisons of it being a poor man's Dr. Strangelove are quite annoying.

Maybe they shouldn't have thrown in references to Strangelove. Then the comparison wouldn't have been made...or noticed.

The majority I noticed were in the pilot or early episodes when they were just getting the ball rolling. I honestly haven't noticed any references from the last batch of episodes but maybe I missed them.

Then again, I haven't watched Strangelove in awhile and I'm not nearly as obsessed with it as some people on this board...

I learnt a lot about what life was like in other countries, I generally hate watching national geographic but this one made it interesting..
