So did they cancel The Brink for Ballers?

If it wasn't for that then perhaps politics were involved and what had them cancel the second season.

I just don't get it why they would terminate The Brink (perhaps one of those two reasons above) and keep Ballers which is just about watchable (because of Dwayne Johnson). However, a fresh and great comedy series like this one they pulled the plug. 

I haven't watched Ballers, but love The Rock... so I will eventually check it out.

I'm disappointed Brink got canceled. I saw one episode and thought it was really good... I love Jack Black and wish I could see him in everything... so this really sucks.

They were in different time slots last year, so I'm not sure that's the reason.
