So it's finally safe to make fun of the Military again?

A la Hogans Heroes / Hot Shots, which this show kinda reminds me of especially when they show the drug selling naval pilot and his crew as a bunch of dumb $hits. Not to mention the CIA/Pentagon people.

After 9/11, Hollywood wouldn't dare of showing military personal in this kind of light.. glad to see things are easing up finally.

it should've never stopped in the first place but fear of audiences boycotting it out of a false sense of nationalism or empty pride, they didn't.
The Brink is a great comedy & i hope there's going to be a 2nd season.

Agreed, and I pity anyone who actually buys into blind-patriotism so badly that they think the US military is immune from criticism or from being joked about (especially on stuff that's true).

There were actually Bush / Cheney government orders after 9/11 for Hollywood not to poke fun of the military anymore and to promote patriotism

Just look at how NCIS went years between eps where the killer was military.

Your replies will be graded and possibly used as material in future projects.
