That's the best US comedy ever!

A bit of a hyperbole, but still a great show. Sad to see that a second season isn't automatic.

little buzz and poor ratings makes it an easy decision for HBO despite the decent cast and potentially interesting premise...albeit with fairly weak writing/humor in my opinion.

Lets be honest, its black satire eviscerating and mocking the US military. Probably one of the smartest and cutting shows created this decade. Viewers don't take well to sarcastic humor and anything that takes a dump on patriotic values. Then you have self aggrandising brofist drek like ballers which is far more relatable to the current population of america.

Not being a hater cos I like ballers as well as The Brink.

I'm very disappointed it's not coming back. It was one of my fav summer shows, and favorite comedy. I liked it better than Ballers. I didn't even finish watching the last few eps of Ballers. And I'm not really a JB fan or fan of broad, slacker, slapstick.. (basically any STOOPID comedy). But this was surprisingly sarcastically witty.
