How do you pronounce this?

I wanna see it tomorrow but I'm embarrassed if I pronounce it wrong to the ticket person. INCARNIT or INCARNAYT ?

Actually it really does pronounce In Car Nit. I was curious myself so i watched a TV spot.

Think of the phrase "Devil Incarnate" vs the verb "Reincarnate"

The correct pronunciation is the former.

From what I gather from the movie, apparently Incarnate is the word that refers to those who have this ability to enter the minds of others.

It's actually in-car-nit.

Several different dictionaries use both pronunciations, "nit" and "neyt", when the word is used as an adjective; but only the "neyt" pronunciation when used as a verb. Technically it doesn't exist as a noun, which is how it's used in the movie so there's no clear distinction but they actually use the "neyt" a couple of times and I think they used "nit" once too... so take your pick.

Just tell them to surprise you, then go see Incarnate anyway.
