At first I thought Steve Brancato was a total nutcase. After watching for a few seasons I see he is only half-a-nutcase. I like the guy.
Amanda Adkins, her husband Travis, Rich Fretterd, The Dorris and Busse families are down to earth (literally) people who make the show fun and interesting.
Hope to see a season three.
I like this show alot too. I just recently discovered it because I was channel surfing when nothing else interesting was on my usual channels. I like that this show seems realistic and there is not a bunch of stupid fake made up drama garbage like there is on so many of the dumb "reality shows" that are played on channels like Discovery, History, National Geographic, etc. This is just about miners and what they do, nothing more. I wish more shows were like this one.
