Battle Creek bumbling fools.

First, I live in Michigan and anyone who lives in Michigan knows that Battle Creek has long been considered the armpit of Michigan. It is run down, bad economy, and never will prosper. There is one "main street" that is decent; otherwise no reason to go to Battle Creek. Now we know why there are so many problems; all of the police are morons and oddballs. They have the stereotypical fat guy who eats donuts all day, the Neanderthal cop who doesn't undersand anything new, and they rest of the cast who are just weirdos. Then consider that none of the technology works; the police need to steal a camera from someone because they are forced to run surveillance with an iPhone, they need to use a baby monitor on an informant because their "wire" doesn't work, then the batteries don't work. To top it all off, the batteries also fail in the taser. Now let's consider the actual crime the police try to solve and the fact that the police fraudulently and illegally coach a witness on who to pick out of a lineup. The officer is not fired. Instread he gets angry that his boss finds out and he breaks a street sign. In order to solve their problems, the FBI is called in. Now apparently the show will be about the challenges faced between the FBI and the BCPD. Frankly, Battle Creek should be ashamed. This show actually manages to make Battle Creek look more incompetent and backwater than it actually is.

I live and grew up here in Battle Creek. When I travel, most of MI has either not heard of us, only knows cereal is made here, or knows about the crime. I've never heard or read any where about being called an armpit. If anything, we get called mini Detroit.

Never been to BC but that seems really harsh. I'd stick with armpit.
