Immortality is Milt's secret

If you watched the last (and perhaps final) episode, it's absolutely clear that they were beginning to leak Milt's true secret to us.

SPOILER AHEAD... Satan's calling card music accompanies Wilts disintegation in a car bomb. He then walks up, unscathed. Episode concludes with him taking a bullet through the heart, and him laughing out "I know", to his partner's weak assurance that he woul make it. Satan's anthem starts up agin, in confirmation. Milt is immortal, but not in a happy way. He bargained at some point with the taker of souls, and greviously lost.

Remember who the truly genius Producer is, truly ponder the evidence, before you toss this theory. This show could have REALLY gone places, had they allowed us this glimpse just a little earlier.

why not? the devil is only the flip side of good...both are immortal and milt flipped.

Why do you think the devil is 'on the flip side of good'? He's just a scapegoat, no one ever heard his side of the story.

every idea, thing, value has its opposite. can't have evil without good and vice versa.

He had to have super-human powers - or something - to escape that car bomb without a scratch.

Actually, they explain in the episode that the drug dealer who owned the car had specifically built the car to withstand a car bomb.

He did have a scratch. Take a look at the bandage on his hand when you watch it next time. I've watched the last episode many times, so I noticed each and every time. He was hurt, just not dead.

I think we were watching two different shows. I understand the last episode and it sure wasn't anything about immortality.

the only thing i can say is that the two of them laughing as milt bled out from a bullet thru the heart was an odd way to end it.

otoh, the boy's father shooting him made a lot of sense, and was a twist from the expected resolution.
