I'd love to see the show get picked up elsewhere. It seems like networks cancel every new show without even giving them a chance to gain an audience, and then wonder why viewership keeps going down. It's insane. Why should people get invested in new shows if they are going to cancel them after only a couple episodes? It's hard to get invested in all these new shows coming out when the odds are it won't last a season.
I know, I just realized every new show I tried except for one got axed. Battle Creek, Forever, Stalker, The McCarthys, Constantine, and The Messengers. Really makes me not want to try any new shows anymore.
It wasn't very good to most people. Didn't get the ratings for a reason. Obviously some people enjoyed it, and they are entitled to. But if something doesn't work for a network, it doesn't work.
Producers and creators like Vince need to step up more, they need to demand, in negotiations that their shows get at least a 3 season guarantee, and that they(the creator) have full creative and show running control, and require the networks to advertise the shows like they do for all the stupid ones that get advertised fifty times a day. Vince had quite a bit of pull and an obvious Midas touch he should have made those big demands with cbs.
Exactly what I think. Better negotiators when it comes to having good actors that are very expensive too. I understand Networks if a show doesn't work it doesn't I didn't think it was that good but I gave it a chance and wasn't surprised when it was cancelled I'm sorry to say. Other much better shows than this has been cancelled by Cbs
Consider the fact that CBS did NO promotion/advertising for this program. I didn't accidently discover it until the 4th-5th episode. It was never meant to succeed. Then too, it might not have drawn the highly desired 18-34 demographic. Guess us old folks are not important. Never mind the fact that we often have more disposable income than struggling 20 somethings.
