It is more of a language. I contacted Dr. Legoff years ago about his research (long before his study came out) and asked if I could expand it in the classroom. I now have a 'Lego class' that teaches social skills and teamwork between middle school students who have autism and students who volunteer to help in my class. They make stop motion videos on social stories and the Legos are the catelyst to get the students working together!
