Alternate ending?

I watched the trailer on IMDB before watching Curve on Netflix. I saw that there is supposedly an alternate ending available. I googled it, and looked on YouTube, but I could not find anything. I cannot imagine how else they could have wrapped this up, for better or for worse. But I am curious. Anybody out there see this alternate ending?

reply

The alternate ending is available on DVD.

Also, it's not the ending that is alternate. Right after he fixes here truck the 1st time, she leaves him there and does not come back for him. It is an alternate story from there on for awhile..... Unique. Hope this helps.

Do you have a link where I can watch it?

I hope you know mjwright is lying. Why would somebody waste time, hot to mention money filming two versions of the same movie with just a different beginning?

reply

mjwright isn't lying. The DVD does include a series of deleted scenes and alternate takes that, when combined, form a second version of the movie. It's labeled on the box and disc itself as "Another Curve: An Alternate Twisted Storyline".

Incidentally, studios like Blumhouse, who produced CURVE, film two versions of multiple scenes, endings, and even entire movies all the time. Don't believe me? Just watch the Blu-Rays of THE GALLOWS, the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY movies, or DARK SKIES and you'll see in the 'Bonus Features' there are dramatically different versions of scenes and endings that weren't in the final cut. PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 had so much alternate material that an entirely different cut was made available on iTunes. Usually this happens because the filmmakers realize what they had didn't work or test audiences didn't respond to the film the way they were expecting. It isn't really a waste of money, as more an attempt to guarantee the movie will make money. Even films like JOY RIDE and HALLOWEEN 6, which were made years ago, have multiple endings and an entirely different second and third acts that included on the DVD.
