Really? This movie is terrible?...watch Wrecker 2015 :) and tell me your opinion

reply

I loved it. Absolutely mesmerized by it. It was no masterpiece but it had it's moments.

reply

you watched the whole thing and say its terrible. I actually enjoyed it.

I watched the whole thing. It is indeed terrible. Mainly because the killer has plenty of time and dozens of opportunities to killer her and he doesn't because then the movie would be over.

I was actually starting to think the killer was just part of her imagination and that's why he hadn't murdered her a dozen times over already. Not the worst movie I've seen but well below average.

Revenge is the most important meal of the day.

reply

He didn't do anything at all until he took her cell phone.
OMG!!!!!!!!

- She wrecked the car
- She invited him in/flipped and got rude
- She kept suggesting he would do things he never did or even said he would do

Then she tries to kill him with a gun.

WTF?!?! Who is the aggressor here?

reply

You're forgetting the part where he sexually harassed her ("you couldn't swallow my massive cock" - or whatever he said) and then he refuses to get out of the car, and grabs her arm when she tries to get out. THEN he threatens her with a knife. That's why she wrecks the car.

- he threatens her with a knife
- leaves her in a wrecked car and taunts her
- tortures and kills a family and a cop

When a man who clearly overpowers you takes you hostage with a knife in your own car, what would you think he was going to do? Is it really that absurd that she assumed he was going to rape/kill her? I don't think so.

reply

He does miss out on a bunch of opportunities to kill her, but I kind of thought that was his game. He kept telling her how all of this was her doing. In a sick sense, he was right. She did invite him into the car and kept procrastinating dropping him off. She crashed the car. I assumed he got off on "making" people hurt themselves. That's why he gave her the saw to cut off her leg. Of course he was really the one orchestrating the whole chain of events, but he liked to act like he didn't do anything. And for a while, he really only used his words and the prop of the knife. That was what was chilling for me is that he was such a hands-off killer.

It seemed almost out of character to me when he actually tied up and killed the family, because with Mallory, he used the element of threat and hardly touched her at first. That's why I liked the ending, because he got caught in the trap that (I'm presuming) he set. What normal vacationing family sets up bear traps (or whatever those were) in the yard of their vacation cabin?

reply

I agree. Really bad and the female lead, her raspy voice was like nails on a chalkboard. I was hoping he'd just slit her throat about halfway through

reply

Ditto.

reply

I would not say terrible. It was decent.

reply

Felt like a typical survival horror movie to me. I just found it hard to really like Mallory.

reply

The only like bale thing in this movie was the bear trap.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.

reply

Not really. I give it a ok rating. Not the greatest but still ok.

reply

There are hundreds maybe thousands of movies out there that are a lot more terrible than this one, I really enjoyed myself with this one and stop searching for implausibilities in movies like this they are NOT documentaries but entertainment!

reply

Not quite a "6" movie:

A point for the attractive lead actress.

An extra point for her legs.

A point for unexpected laughter at the game changing comment the bad guy made in the vehicle. Best line.

A half-point for the rat and a half-point for the sorta empty water bottle.

A point for the ending.

A point because it kind of reminded me of "Duel", in a weird way.
